Pre-fabrication and pre-assembly facilities: underway since August 20, 2015

• Trucking related to jetty construction :

212,000 m³ / 435,780 tons of rock

13,017 truck trips

277 trips per day, on average

• Limited impact on traffic

• No incidents with cyclists or pedestrians

• Noise management and air quality : prescribed thresholds respected

• Rapid reaction to residents’ complaints : calls returned and corrective

measures taken

Air Quality Management

• No expected impact on sensitive zones

• Main mitigation measures for the entire work site:

Transport of materials in dump trucks with tarp covers

Appropriate maximum speed for vehicles, to reduce dust emissions on access roads

or jetty

Spraying water on surfaces

Regular cleaning of the streets used by vehicles and machinery in order to remove

any accumulation of movable material and other debris

If necessary, application of dust suppressant
