MOTION TO CHANGE MEETING TIME
v With working parents, we would like to make a motion to change
the time of the PTA meetings
v Previously every third Tuesday of the month in the morning
v Change to ANY DAY/TIME
PARENTS AS READING PARTNERS
v PARP – program that asks parents to read with children
v 15-30 minutes a day – log on a calendar
v Reading is fun and informative
v Sharing time reading
v Any language, any written material – song lyrics, magazines, articles
v Starting in October
v Join committee

• Set-up book stations, keep books organized, assist children in finding books they want
v Pumpkin Patch – 8:00a-1:00p
• Set-up; Help kids find pumpkins; Snap a photo
v Our Pros will train us
