Earth Forces ProjectFourth Grade
Prior to beginning this unit, students should be divided into small groups to study one of the following forces: earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes or volcanoes.
Activity Application Technology SkillDays 1-2: Students will
conduct research in groups on one of the Earth’s forces using an online source.
Students will take notes on a graphic organizer and cite sources appropriately.
Open Wiki page to find research articles and graphic organizer. (Print & copy graphic organizer for student use prior to Days 1-2).
Other student-friendly online research engines, such as Grolier or World Book
Texts can also be used to supplement research
