Anders MarvikVice President and Head of EU Affairs Office, Statoil

Anders Marvik has more than 20 years‘ experience from the oil & gas industry. He is currently Vice President and Head of the Statoil EU political Affairs Office. He has previously held management positions within Corporate Strategy, Business Intelligence and Treasury. Anders Marvik has broad international experience having worked and lived for extended periods in Norway, UK, Belgium, and Venezuela. He holds an Honorary Bachelor degree from Strathclyde University in economics and finance.

Andreas KuhlmannDirector Strategy and Politics, German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW)

Since 2010, Andreas Kuhlmann is Director of Strategy and Politics at BDEW. In this function he coordinates the activities for BDEW’s positioning on the new market design. Educated in physics and economics, Andreas Kuhlmann was Head of the office to the party leader of the Social Democratic Party SPD. He was also Head of Office to the Minister of the Federal Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs. In between he was Attaché for Social Affairs at the German Embassy in Stockholm and Helsinki.

Dr. Christian KunzeDirector of Studies, Norwegian Centres of Expertise, Smart Energy Markets

Christian Kunze holds a Ph.D. in management science. During his ten years of industry experience in energy trading he held various international management positions at core industry players as e.g. E.ON Trading, Edison Trading S.p.A and Shell Energy Trading Ltd. In his position as Director of Studies at the NCE Smart Energy Markets he is responsible for research projects and educational initiatives. In addition, he is active as consultant and advisory board member in the energy industry and as visiting lecturer at universities.

Ingard MoenVice President, Statnett SF

Ingard Moen has been with Statnett since 2010. He began his career in the electricity industry in 1999 as Senior Market Analyst at Electrabel Nordic (Oslo). He moved to Brussels in 2005 and worked as Senior Energy Market Analyst and Head of Market analysis at Electrabel Trading & Portfolio Management. In 2008 he returned to Oslo to become Senior Energy Market Analyst – Nordic Region at EDF Trading. In Statnett he has been involved in developing the German and UK intercon-nector projects and among other has been the Chairman of the board of directors in NorGer AS.

Enno BöttcherManaging Director, European Market Coupling Company GmbH

Enno Böttcher has a master degree in electrical engineering and a degree in business management. Working from 1998 to 2008 at Vattenfall Europe AG he was Key Account Manager and Head of corporate development for various business units. In April 2008 he became project manager of the market coupling initiative between Germany and Denmark. Since August 2008 Enno Böttcher is CEO of European Market Coupling Company GmbH in Hamburg which resulted from the market coupling initiative.

Thor Otto LohneExecutive Vice President, Gassco AS

Since 2002, Thor Otto Lohne is CFO and Executive Vice President at Gassco AS. His responsibility is to coordinate the technical and commercial development of the Norwegian gas infrastructure and to administer Gassled, a joint venture where Norway‘s gas transport systems is integrated. His career includes positions at Phillips Petroleum and at Statoil, such as General Manager at Statoil UK Gas Division and Vice President of Natural Gas. Thor Otto Lohne was Chairman of the trading com-pany Alliance Gas Ltd and Chairman of the Gas Negotiation Committee.

Øyvind StakkelandDirector Regulatory Affairs, Agder Energi AS

Øyvind Stakkeland holds a master of science degree from University of Trondheim. Since he graduated in 1988 he has been working in consultancy and in the industry. In 1998 he started in the renewable energy business at the utility company Agder Energi. At Agder Energi Øyvind Stakkeland had different positions within business development, including wind and interconnector projects, and within regu-latory work and strategy development.

Felix BuchholzPortfolio Manager CWE, Markedskraft Deutschland GmbH

Felix Buchholz has been with Markedskraft Deutschland GmbH since 2011. His core focus is the fast developing intraday market segment in the EPEX SPOT area. He is responsible for the business development of 24/7 portfolio management services. Additionally he investigates the potentials of optimizing power assets (e.g. electrical boilers and CHPs) in the short term electricity markets - regulatory/ba-lancing power, and day-ahead & intraday.

Stefan-Jörg GöbelHead of Trading & Origination, STATKRAFT Markets GmbH

Stefan-Jörg Göbel is a Managing Director of STATKRAFT Markets GmbH, the group‘s central trading entity for Continental Europe. He is leading Statkraft‘s wholesale activity in power and fuels in Continental Europe. Until November 2001 he worked for ENRON in Frankfurt and London in the fields of origination and mid-market. He started his career with the consultancy SIMON, KUCHER & PARTNERS, advising energy companies, working in Bonn and Vienna from 1997 to 2000.

Thomas EccardHead of Green Markets, Markedskraft ASA

Thomas Eccard joined Markedskraft group in 2011 where he is responsible for the renewable energy market operations. From the Berlin office, he leads the setup of portfolio management operations in the German speaking market area. His professional expertise covers the knowledge on the regulatory frameworks of European energy markets, the origination and (cross-border) trading of environmental commodities, the management of emission reduction projects as well as the development of conventional and renewable power projects. Since several years Thomas Eccard is active board member in RECS International, an association promoting a cost-effective European renewable electricity market.
