Þuríður hrund hjartardóttir Þuríður is the Managing Director of Consumer Health Care & Sports division at Icepharma where she leads a team of 15, distributing

over 40 brands from leading international companies around the world. Þuríður has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, working with brands like NIKE and Coca-Cola. Before Þuríður has worked for Iceland Telecom, Vifilfell and Ossur among others, both as a consultant and an employee. Þuríður holds a BSc in International marketing from the University of Reykjavik.

Guðjón Valur Sigurðsson Guðjón is a respected role model and an Icelandic handball player who plays for FC Barcelona Handbol, the most successful

handball club in Spain and Europe with a record number of domestic, European and international titles. He has been awarded as the Icelandic Sportsperson of the Year, he has made it to the All-Star team at EM as the best left wing and Guðjón has won several titles in Men’s Handball Championships, either with the Icelandic national team or his local team in the German League. Guðjón started his handball career young with Grótta on Seltjarnarnes. He also played with KA Akureyri. After that his professional career began in Germany, first with Essen but later he joined Gummersbach, then Rhein-Neckar Löwen and AG København before joining THW Kiel where the team won all possible titles domestically and internationally. member at Öryggismiðstöðin/Security company. She was HR Executive Vice President for Eimskip. She was a member of the board of the City of Reykjavík Education and Welfare Councils. Ingunn has taught HR management at Reykjavík University. Her expertise is HR, strategic planning, change management, merges and acquisitions, leadership training, HR Due Diligence and audits. Ingunn holds a MBA from Reykjavík University and BA in work sociology.

Guðríður Sigurðardóttir Guðríður is a partner of Attentus. She is an outsourced HR manager for several companies in Iceland. Guðríður completed

a MA in Leadership and Organizational Coaching from EADA Business School in Barcelona and a BA degree in Spanish and Media and Communications Studies from the University of Iceland, a degree in HR Management from the Continuing Education program at the University of Iceland and Executive Coaching from Reykjavík University and Coach University. Gudridur teaches leadership in the

University of Icelands MBA program. She has served as a representative for the Confederation of Icelandic Employers on the board of the trade council for office and trade sector. Guðríður is an alternate on the board for the pension fund Íslif. Chairman of the Board in Educational Fund for Mothers and Families in Need.

adalheidur Karlsdóttir Adalheidur is an experienced business woman in various fields. She holds a B.Ed. degree and is a State Authorized Real Estate

Agent. Starting her carrier over 30 years ago as a mathematics teacher in the Commercial College of Iceland and setting up her own business in retail and import , moving into real estate and investments. She is a State Authorized Real Estate Agent, at precent focusing on the Icelandic and Spanish market, but has worked on investment projects in countries like Iceland, Spain, Morocco and Slovakia. With an education in Advanced Management (AMP) and Leadership from the IESE University in Barcelona she has a comprehensive knowledge and a wide experience in doing business internationally with the focus on real estate and property development projects. Adalheidur is a founder partner of Naskar, a women only investment group, a former board member of FKA, and former Vice Commissioner of the FCEM, the International Association of Women Entrepreneurs, and has actively participated in different projects for empowering women through business. She has a keen interest in art and is a co-owner of a new Art Gallery in Reykjavík. She lives in Reykjavík but with a second home in Spain for almost 15 years.

Evgeny is an Associate Professor at IESE Business School where he teaches MBA and executive courses in digital business, IT strategy,

and virtual enterprise. His research focuses on social and mobile technologies and their impact on individuals, organizations, and business models. His recent work traces the evolution of crowdsourcing and its growing impact on business. Evgeny has Ph.D. in Business Admini-stration (Information Systems), Louisiana State University, Master of Business Administration, Syracuse University,Medical Doctor, Ural State Medical Academy, Yekaterinburg anneloes Raes

Anneloes obtained a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at Maastricht University and a M.Sc. in Psychology at the Radboud University

Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Anneloes research and teaching expertise include top management teams, successful interactions between top and middle managers, self-management, leadership, and teamwork. In 2011, she published the book “Top Management Teams: How to be effective inside and outside the boardroom” with Business Expert Press, in which she makes the academic knowledge on top management teams more accessible and appealing for business professionals.

astrid helgadóttir For the last 10 years Astrid has worked at the Icelandic Consulate in Barcelona. She has a degree in tourism from the University of Barcelona

and works with Icelandic travel operators in Spain, mainly on City Trips.

Berglind Ásgeirsdóttir Berglind is the ambassador of Iceland in France, Andorra, Spain, Italy and Morocco, with accreditation in Algeria, Lebanon and Tunisia.

Permanent Representative of Iceland to the OECD, Permanent Representative of Iceland to UNESCO and Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe. In 2004 Berglind became an ambassador for Iceland. She was was one of two women stepping into office, following Sigríður Snævarr, the first Icelandic Women to be appointed ambassador to the Icelandic Foreign Service in 1991. Berglind, had previously served as the Ministry of Social Affairs, also for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
