Bad results are often underreported in the literature and medical meetings. Nevertheless, it is when things go wrong when we are able to learn and avoid the same mistakes in the future.

Sharing our individual knowledge can help us reduce our morbidity and mortality rates.

In this meeting we will analyze our bad results, critically (but constructively) reconsidering them from the indication, the planning, the technical procedure and the post intervention point of view.

Learning from catastrophes is a lesson in humility but it is also a way to show respect to to our past and future patients.

Cardiovascular surgeons, vascular radiologists, intensivists, anaesthetists, cardiologists, perfusionists, cardiac, cardiothoracic, and vascular surgeons are encouraged to present their cases and studies about the topic. Original work will be published by Springer in a book with the same title of the meeting.

CME credits will also be available. Selected communications will be published in a book about the topic edited by Springer.

We hope to share with you this new meeting concept in a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
