Glycerol Formal has a very low odor and toxicity profile making it ideal for use in a variety of applications as described below: PHARMACEUTICALS as a solvent carrier in the manufacture of injectable solutions ( e.g. IVERMECTIN, SULPHADIAZINE SODIUM and TRIMETHOPRIM). BINDER SOLVENT to produce foundry core in various casting processes. ADDITIVE FOR WATER-BASED INKS- the water miscibility of Glycerol Formal makes it ideal for water-based ink formulations, as well as for the manufacture of glycerol formal acrylates. COALESCENCE IMPROVER-for water dispersion of acrylic and PVA paints sampled with frost resistant agents.
