Production Diary Two (24/11/15)

Today I began recording the first part to the performance scenes to my music video in the photography studio at Gateshead College.

I was able to set up all the equipment effectively, however, once completed, one of the two lights needed was not working which led me to have to find an alternative while waiting for the light bulb to be changes. To do this, I used another piece of lighting equipment, which although it gave me a blue tint of colour onto my singer, I am confident I could fix the colour problem when editing.

We also had a few complications, such as the singer as she was an hour late; however, we were able to film within the estimated time I believed it would take.

Next week, I wish to prevent these issues and starting my recording at 9 am and that way we can take the pictures required for my ancillary projects. I will be recording with a black screen next week therefore giving me a variety of scenes in which I can use in the video.
