    2-zone drafting system

    HIGH LAP QUALITY THE KEY TO BEST COMBING RESULTSOptimal ber structure, homogeneous batt build-up and even lap construction are the key factors for high lap quality. The precision of each of the matching elements of the UNIlap E 32 model guarantees the ful lment of these demands.

    2-ZONE DRAFTING SYSTEMThe 2-zone drafting system enables the correct application of splitting pre- and main drafting in both zones. Only optimal drafting distribution can ensure the best drafting conditions and the resulting ber parallelization.

    In particular, with longer ber 2-zone drafting shows signi -cant quality advantages when pre-drafting is reduced and the main draft is increased.

    DRAFTING UNIT DRIVE SYSTEMThe drive system features state-of-the-art at belt technology. Improved accessibility and handling are the result. Fast and easy draft change is possible without change gears.

    4 CALENDER ROLLERS LARGE LAP ROLLERS4 calender rollers and large lap rollers allow for faultless batt structure and ensure secure and optimal lap construction. (Fig. 1)

    REGULATED LAP LOADINGRegulated automatic lap loading ensures ideal pressure of the lap on the lap rollers during the complete build-up cycle. (Fig. 2)

    VARIOspeed (optional)VARIOspeed permits permanent adjustment of the lap speed to the lap diameter during the entire lap build-up cycle. Together with consistently better lap quality it also ensures higher pro-duction rates. (Fig. 3)

    ECONOMY WITH LARGE-FORMAT CANSFeed cans with a diameter of 1 000 mm increase e ciency. (Fig. 4) On request cans with a diameter of 600 mm can also be supplied.

    COMBING SETUp to 5 E 65 / E 75 combers can be operated with 1 UNIlap E 32. Depending on raw material, one set produces up to 300 kg/h.

    GENTLE AND EFFICIENT LAP TRANSPORT The UNIlap E 32 can be supplied optionally with a semi-automatic or a fully automated lap transport system.

    SERVOtrolley SEMI-AUTOMATIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM 4 laps can be transported using the SERVOtrolley. Transfer to the comber is performed manually. SERVOtrolley and the comber are loaded and unloaded automatically.

    SERVOlap E 25 FULLY AUTOMATED TRANSPORT SYSTEM8 laps are transported simultaneously using the fully automated SERVOlap. The following options are available for system and layout exibility:
