Program Overview
PRINCE2 provides an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. This method is the de facto standard for Project Management and is practiced worldwide. PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) provides common processes, management products, roles, and language for use throughout an organization’s projects.
The 2-day PRINCE2 Practitioner course (based on PRINCE2: 2009) builds on the knowledge that participants have gained in the PRINCE2 Foundation course and focuses on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 for the effective use of the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology in projects.

PrerequisitesIn order to take the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination, you must hold one of the following qualification:
PRINCE2 Foundation Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director) IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager) IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager) IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
Follow-on Exam: PRINCE2 Registered PractitionerCandidates who pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam are recognized as a 'PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner'. Candidates will remain registered for a period of 5 years. To maintain the registered status, the “Practitioners” must complete and pass a PRINCE2 Re-Registration examination within 3-5 years of their initial/previous practitioner certification.

Examination:
The exam is based on an objective testing format. No. of questions: 8 questions - 10 question items per question, each worth one mark Passing score: 44 marks or more (out of 80) required to pass - 55% Exam duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes - no additional reading time) Open book exam (PRINCE2 manual only)
