Dear Brothers and Sisters:I hope everyone had a great Christmas and wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Please let me thank all of our volunteers for the 2019 season as we couldn’t do it without all of you! From my heart, “Thank you one and all!” We hope to make 2020 a golden year in our community. Our annual winter Com-edy Nights start on January 18th, with three more shows teed up for February and March. Our annual Beer & Wine Tast-ing happens during Winterfest on January 25th; working with the city of Grand Hav-en, we will be raising funds for the Light-house Conservancy. After community ef-forts to restore the catwalk, the Lighthouse Conservancy was established so that our pier and lighthouse will be properly main-tained for generations to come. This event is always a good time, and with so many craft beers and wines available, you might find a new favorite!Thank you to all who gave generously to the Crusade for Toys campaign, so that ev-eryone could enjoy the holidays. We look forward to seeing you at your Eagles Club; stop in and say “hello” as we celebrate the start of 2020! Thank you!

Please keep them and their families in your prayers.Looking back on 2019, our membership is strong and we are well on our way to the 2% growth rate that the Grand Aerie has requested of all aeries. Yet there is always room for more, so I encourage our mem-bers to bring a friend to the club and show them all of the benefits of membership: fellowship, economic value, great food and drink, sports, games, and last, but not least, opportunities to serve our community!Looking ahead to 2020, we have some great events planned to beat the winter blues: Comedy Nights, Winterfest Beer & Wine Tasting, Super Bowl Party and our annual Chili Cook-off. With all the activities it will be spring before you know it!

The Cookie Swap was fun too! Friday January 3rd is the next Fish Fry for the Auxiliary, we will be having a bake sale during dinner. If you would like to donate please have your tasty treats in the social room by 4:00 pm.We are excited for the upcoming year and are current-ly planning new

events. If you have an event idea please join us at a meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. If unable to attend a meeting please jot down your idea and have the bar-tender place it in the auxiliary secretaries box. I will bring it to the meeting for you.
