The dot
What is a dot?The dot is the smallest element we can use
to draw and paint.
When a dot is drawn on a paper, it attracts our attention and creates tensions that suggest emotions:

When a few dots are placed together, they evoke a visual representation of form:

The line
What is a line?The line is the path made by a moving
point.When a line is drawn on a paper, it can suggest emotions depending on its direction.
HORIZONTAL: peace, tranquility.
VERTICAL: energy, desire to grow, spirituality.
DIAGONAL: movement, action, inestability.
CURVILINEAR: movement, tension, freedom.
Lines can be expressive. They may show excitement, anger, tension, happiness…
Lines can be continuous or composite.
Dotted
And they can also have variable thickness.
