Conference venue at the Geo Institute

The Niels Bohr Institute and the Geo Institute are parts of the University of Copenhagen.

• The Geo Institute is next to the Botanical and Rosenborg gardens and the National Art Museum. It is within walking distance of the city centre.

• The Geo Institute is close to the Niels Bohr Institute.

• The main room in the Geo Institute sits up to 900 people. There a few additional additional auditoria next to it which sits 100 each.

• Several session rooms.

• There is WiFi in the Geo Institute and overhead projectors in the rooms.

Conference fee, hotels and YMCA

• The conference fee will be 300 Euroes for students, 350 Euroes for PhDs and 110

Euroes for accompanying persons. Late comers will be charged additional 50 Euroes.

• Included in the conference fee are the lunches Monday to Friday and the social events.

• A limited number of cheap hotels in the center of Copenhagen are in the range 20 to 45 Euroes per person. Hotel Cab-inn also in the center can have 450 persons for 75 Euroes in single rooms and 1100 in Cab-Inn Metro for 66 – 75 Euroes . Cab-inn Metro is near a metro station. It takes roughly the same time from the two to get to the conference.

• Youth hostels in the range 14 to 23 Euroes per person.

• Copenhagen Airport is the busiest airport in Northern Europe with direct flights to more than 127 cities worldwide
