What if you died tomorrow?
What will you notice that you have never
noticed before?
Maybe you’ll notice the kids playing?
Maybe you’ll notice the kids playing?
Maybe you’ll notice the kids playing?
Maybe you would touch your way
around?
Maybe you would touch your way
around?
Maybe you would touch your way
around?
Maybe you listen to the wind in the trees?
Maybe you listen to the wind in the trees?
Maybe you listen to the wind in the trees?
How would these things make you feel?
Happy?Aware?
Calm?
Everyday for 10 days I got 30 participants to view their world in this way
Everyday for 10 days I got 30 participants to view their world in this way, as it was their last day
living.
This is their world:
This makes them
Happy
This is what they see
Of White Noise
This is what they touch
Of rough surfaces
They tasted…
They saw red..
They saw an emotion..
They shared it here:
But……
The tasks created awareness, but not
calm.
“one more thing bombarding me with information which adds stress”- Tom
“…if you want to create more calm you could add a routine you believe is destressing that people can follow when they wake up, go to bed, or
just feel stressed in general.” -Jonas
because to create more calm, keep one
personal goal over a couple of days
That led to a 3 day awareness short-cut
Why ?awareness
Aware is the first step to calm
Aware is the first step to self-compassion and
happiness
Recipe for the last day:
-a pinch of Choice mixed with personal
goal
-use personal relationship to drive
participation
-facebook is too competitive and
stressful for calming behavior
people like to browse but don’t participate
-repeat the steps above
then mix them all together and bake ….
.. start living your day as it was your last day
Next step:Tap into existing fun
behavior
