(CIO) began operations in 1980 with the

aim of promoting research, technological

development and training of human

resources in the field of optics.

The CIO has achieved an optimum level

of scientific and technological

development for the past 37 years,

thanks to a plant of experienced and

renowned researchers, engineers and

technicians who, by adding their efforts,

are consolidating their initial objectives.


The area of optical manufacturing and thin

films offers to the international community

its experience of more than 35 years in the

development of scientific and

technological instruments as well as high

precision optical components.
