By the time you leave at the end of our Open Morning, we want to ensure that you have a good feel for the breadth of opportunity available to every pupil and the enthusiastic, friendly atmosphere that are hallmarks of Bishop’s Stortford College.

Helping children achieve their academic potential and gain the examination results needed for life beyond school is very important and we never lose sight of this. However, we want every pupil to leave Bishop’s Stortford College with so much more, in particular the skills and personal qualities that a young person needs to thrive in our rapidly changing world.

Such skills cannot be easily measured but by taking full advantage of the opportunities on offer we believe our pupils have the best foundation for the future, whatever path they choose to take.

Open Morning formatPrep School pupils will be following a normal timetable of lessons and activities throughout the morning. In addition, staff will be available in each department to answer any questions you may have.

Admissions informationThe Prep School Admissions Officer, Mrs Brett and her colleagues, will be available throughout the morning to answer your questions and give you our latest information.

Parent perspectivePrep School parents will be available to talk to you about their experience of the College and answer any questions you may have.

BoardingIf you wish to find out more about full, weekly or flexi boarding, do visit Grimwade, our Prep School boarding house and talk to the Houseparents and boarders during your tour.

After your tour of the College, refreshments will be available from 11am in the Prep School Hall.

ParkingPlease park in the Prep School car park entrance off Maze Green Road.
