Praying for Prosperity: 3 John 1:2

3 John 1:2 --Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

Praying For Monetary Prosperity

It is not wrong to pray for prosperity if we use it righteously.

Proverbs 3:9 -- Honor the Lord with your wealth,    with the firstfruits of all your crops;

James 4:3

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

Promises Made By God

Hebrews 13:5 -- Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

2 Corinthians 9:10-11 Now he who supplies seed to the

sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Wealth Creates Challenges
