Greeting you this morning are Thelma and Jim Sandberg. Thelma is a member of the U.C.W., Jim is a member of the Trustees and Co-ordinator of Ushers and Greeters.

Nursery care is provided for little ones to age 4 years, from 10:20AM until the end of the worship service. The nursery is located in the hall, through the doors on either side of the choir loft. Paige is our care provider.

Faith In Motion – we have wrapped up our year until the Sunday following Labour Day.

Bible Study – Will resume Wednesday mornings in September.

Euchre Night – hosted by the Stewards, Friday, June 30 at 7PM with doors open at 6:45PM. $5/person includes refreshments.

Yahoo! the Stewards host Strawberry Sundae Sunday following the worship service. Special thanks to Jo-Anne and John Smithson for donating the strawberries & ice cream.We collect for our local Food Bank. Special envelopes

for monetary donations are available in the pews or narthex. Tuesday, June 27 – Gospel Plus gathers at 7PM in the hall. For more information, please speak with Lloyd Johnson.

Summer Schedule – Our Church will be closed during the month of July. You are encouraged to worship with your brothers and sisters in other Churches in the area.

August 6 we return to worship together at 10 am. Please note: Until after Labour Day we meet a half hour earlier at 10 am.If you are not on PAR and would like to continue your church givings during our holidays, post-dated cheques would be welcome. We continue to need to meet our budget during these weeks. Thank you.

Congregational Meeting – Following worship on Sunday, September 17 to provide the Congregation with information regarding the Special Gifts Fund.

Canada’s 150th July 1 Celebrations –Bowmanville Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178 open house on July 1 from 11AM – 4PM. Family oriented fun day. Free events, prizes, free hot dogs, branch tours, bouncy house.

Newcastle Recreation Complex – 1780 Rudell Rd. – July 1 – Opening Ceremony at 4PM. Food vendors 2-9, free swim 2-5, Top 40 tunes 2-6, BBQ & Beer Garden 4-9, Eagles Tribute

Bank 7-9. Bubble soccer, multi-sports in gym, art activities, jumping castle, rock wall climbing, Canadian Armor Tank display. Fireworks at dusk. Suggested donation $2pp or $5 per family.
