Danger Threats

• Intentional/willful act causing serious physical injury to a child

• Child has serious unexplained illness/injury or caregivers explanations are inconsistent with illness/injury

• Child’s physical living conditions are hazardous and child has been or will be injured. Conditions can/has endangered child’s health

• Reports of serious harm and child's whereabouts cannot be determined

• Caregiver is not meeting child’s essential needs and child is/already seriously harmed or will most likely be harmed

• Child shows serious emotional symptoms requiring intervention and/or lacks behavioral control and/or exhibiting

• Caregiver is violent, impulsive or active dangerously in ways that seriously harmed or will seriously harm the child

• Caregiver is not meeting the basic/essential needs or supervision and child is/has already been seriously harmed or will be

• Caregiver views child and/or acts toward the child in extremely negative manner and such behaviors have or will result in serious harm to the child
