POSITION: Purchasing & Inventory Management Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: V.P., Operations & Project Management

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting Program Manager(s) and Account Manager(s) with purchase order,
database, inventory and custom material management as it relates production and management of
branded merchandise programs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purchase order management
o Place all purchase orders
o Purchase order proof approval
o Purchase order follow up to ensure on time delivery
o Invoice matching/resolution
o Process inventory receivers/resolution
o Purchase order filing
o Create job cost sheet/billing folder
o Manage info@ email box
Database management
o Build/create new program items in database
o Update database with changes (website copy, price changes, image changes,
discontinued)
o Backorder report management/back in stock date updates
o WMS data management
Inventory Management
o Item issue resolution (receipt issue, quality control issue)
o Cycle counts/inventory resolution
o Program sample management
o International shipments documentation
Program custom material management
o Private label management
o Custom box management
o Custom packing materials management
o Ship private labels to supplier
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong computer skills -- proficient in all Microsoft office applications
Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once with strict deadlines
Flexibility and ability to manage constant change
Problem solving skills
Self-starter with desire to improve efficiency
Previous merchandise buying experience preferred, but not required
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree required
