Shekinah Glory: The dwelling or presence of Yahweh
• Exd 40:33- 35
And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set
up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord
filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter the tent of
meeting because the cloud settled (shakan: or the shekinah as in
shekinah glory) on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
The Hebrew word Sh'cheenah, or as we usually refer to it "shekinah,"
comes from a verb meaning to settle, inhabit or dwell. Its frequent use
in the Old Testament scriptures literally means the "dwelling" or
"presence" of Yahweh with his people.

Tabernacle vs. Temple of God: The difference
PAST• Tabernacle: Temporary Place. Ex 25:15The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
• Temple: Permanent Place. 1Ki 8:8 And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy [place] before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.
Though provided as a permanent place it was only a pattern that pointed to the Future.
PRESENT• Temple: Church (Local / Corporate) 1Cr 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

FUTURE• Rev 21:3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God (skēnē: rendered eternal dwelling place) is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
