We had to allow offline payments as most of the sellers from this market did not have Credit Cards or PayPal. Instead, this market has great penetration in mobile technology. Hence, SMS integration was used to increase user participation.2. Multi-currency site with currency toggle facility (USD & INR)3. Single payment for products from all shops4. Extremely tight admin control/approval on items listed/people willing to sell on this site5. "Make an Offer" on product showcases.6. Hyper Local directory listing to match the niche market

Usability testing was completed withtargeted users. Results from the expert, owners review were used to guide the development of the test plan so that identified issues could be validated or dismissed and their relevance graded based on actual user interaction.

ResultsThe expert inspections revealed that the prototype design indeed addressed many shortcomings of the current competitors site, and that integration of the new Social features would further enable self viral marketing for the site..
