We made a calender on 200 years celibretion on famus italian typogra-pher Giambattiasta Bodoni.Bodoni
born in italy on 1740 and died 1813 palma.He is famus for his morden
bodoni typoface.
Calender on Giambattista BodoniWe choose to make the calender on the theme on his life and work.We made an clock as a symbol of his life circle and place important achivement and activities in 12 months of time frame of a year 2013.We used the classic font numerals used by Bodoni, using them as letters, creating a sort font Bodoni evolved in the 200 after his deathand in keeping with the modernity of today’s design.The calander format is 210x210cm.Promint color is black-white,red.

L’Associazione Culturale Studi Grafi ci di Milano bandisce la 14a edizione del Concorso Nazionale relativo alla realizzazione di un calendario composto da 12 fogli.
tema e caratteristiche del concorso
Il concorso ha come fi nalità l’acquisizione di un calendario mensile per l’anno 2012.È aperto a tutti i giovani che frequentano o che hanno frequentato scuole professionali o post-diploma di espressione grafi ca o pubblicitaria, nati dopo il 31 dicembre 1985. Il Consiglio Direttivo si propone di ot-tenere stampati che, nel genere particolare indicato dal bando, siano espressione di elaborazioni grafi che stilisticamente aggiornate e originali. Il Concorso persegue pertanto il fi ne di stimolare i concorrenti a una seria preparazione teorica e pratica dando importanza alla cultura grafi ca valorizzando il lettering e rispettando la funzione pratica del calendario.Si richiede il progetto in formato verticale mm 340x480 con 3 mm di abbondanza con dodici mesi com-posti dal datario e dall’elaborazione grafi ca.
modalità di presentazione
Si lascia ampia libertà ai partecipanti di progettazione e di espressione grafi ca nei 4 colori della scala eu-ropea. Il calendario dovrà riportare in ogni pagina il logo di uno sponsor, secondo l’elenco stampato sul retro.La proposta dovrà pervenire su supporto cartaceo e digitale, nel formato A3 297x420.Specifi che tecniche: i fi le dovranno essere forniti in formato PDF compatibile con la versione Acrobat 5 in CMYK, con margini di 3 mm per lato e segni di taglio. Il PDF dovrà essere creato impostando in Acrobat Distiller il Job Option “stampante” o “macchina da stampa”.La risoluzione delle immagini non deve essere inferiore a 300 Dpi.La forma di partecipazione è anonima, pertanto ogni elaborato dovrà essere contrassegnato da un motto sul retro; lo stesso motto dovrà essere riportato su un foglio, con il nome, il cognome e il domicilio dell’au-tore, la data di nascita e della scuola di riferimento. Questo foglio dovrà essere debitamente fi rmato e collocato in busta chiusa con l’indicazione del solo motto all’esterno. I progetti che non corrispondono pienamente alle indicazioni del bando non accederanno al concorso.Nel rispetto della Privacy, si garantisce la massima riservatezza dei dati forniti.

I lavori dovranno pervenire alla sede dell’Associazione Culturale Studi Grafi ci, in via Benigno Crespi 30, 20159 Milano entro e non oltre il giorno 29 ottobre 2011, ore 12.00.Il Centro si ritiene esonerato da ogni responsabilità per quanto concerne il copyright, la spedizione ed il trasporto del materiale oggetto del Concorso; eventuali controversie sull’originalità dell’opera sono a responsabilità del partecipante.
valutazioni, esiti e premiazioni del concorso
La giuria che esaminerà gli elaborati formulerà un giudizio insindacabile su tutti gli elementi qui elencati;• rispetto del formato, mm 340x480;• funzionalità nell’elaborazione grafi ca mensile;• immediata visibilità e leggibilità della struttura grafi ca (mesi e giorni) in evidenza sui grafi smi decorativi;• originalità, uso dei caratteri, estetica e armonie cromatiche.
Il concorso si concluderà con l’attribuzione di 12 premi così suddivisi:1° premio 1.000 Euro2° premio 500 Euro
– n. 10 premi di segnalazione con materiale fotografi co e in denaro fi no a raggiungere la cifra di 300 euro.Una selezione dei migliori progetti sarà esposta presso la sede dell’ Associazione Culturale Studi Grafi ci. Luogo e data della cerimonia di premiazione verranno successivamente comunicati.La liquidazione del premio in denaro avalla al Associazione Culturale Studi Grafi ci e a tutti gli sponsor il diritto per un anno all’utilizzo e alla divulgazione degli elaborati. I risultati del Concorso saranno comuni-cati direttamente ai vincitori e resi noti tramite la stampa di Settore. La stampa specializzata darà ampio resoconto del Concorso.Tutti i progetti non saranno restituiti.

We had to do the branding and logo design for a famous italian cake designer Laura Postinger.I made a very simple design for the logo with a symble & text, which together present a structure of a cake(side view).The graphical symble present thebond and love between us and also the shape of first letter “L” of her name.Then i place other letters of her name.Finaly the words “torta migliore” which means the best cake. I also use three colors which mostly used to make cake.

Decorazione Aula Garamond
Gruppo: Giorgia Pallaoro, Leonardo Moggio, Noor Alam, Michele Lotti
L’idea iniziale per la decorazione dell’aula Garamond è stata quella di pensare alla funzione dell’aula stessa. Essendo attrezzata di macchine Macintosh abbiamo pensato di decorare l’aula con i pulsanti “scorciatoie”utilizzati nel sistema operativo. Ogni pulsante corrisponde ad un elemento funzionale dell’aula.
La combinazione di tasti “cmd + Q” corrisponde all’uscita da un programma. Allo stesso modo questa combiniazione posta sopra la porta può signifiare l’uscita, appunto, dall’aula.

I tasti per regolare la luminosità di uno schermo possono essere abbinati alla luminosità dell’aula stessa.

Con questa decorazione abbiamo voluto rappresentare i vari materiali usati durante un flusso di lavoro grafico. La mente è il punto da cui partono le idee per realizzare un progetto grafico.

Shabjal died of Thalassaemia, at the age of 14, on 7th Shraban, 1414
Many mothers like Shahida Begum are just living with the memories of their lost sweethearts. Hundreds of thousands of parents fight every moment for the survival of their children suffering from Thalassaemia.
Ballads of the Agonized Souls is a combination of some portraits and still-life images. The still-lives contain the memories of the lost souls and the portraits represent the struggling souls who are on the edge of cruel-cold death.

Ballads Of The Agonized Souls Ballads of the agonized souls is a combination of some still-life images and portraits. The still-live images contain the memories of the lost ones and the portraits represent the brave fighters who are fighting a battle against this deadly disease.

according to a publication of world health organization (who) roughly 11.2 million people are thalassaemia carriers and 7,483 children are born with the disease every year with expected 3,74,154 living patients in Bangladesh. but most of the people in our country are not aware of it!
i am not a physician. nor a specialist about thalassaemia disease. rather merely a pho-tographer. i only know that this fatal disease can be prevented. a mass consciousness is necessary to do that.
i have been photographing people affected by the deadly disease for last two years. my intention of doing this project is to explore the real scenario as much as i can. the battle against this disease cannot be fought alone. a social movement is required to uproot thalassaemia where the government, media, physicians, guardians, patients and every-one will have roles to play. my effort is just to be a part of this cohesive battle.

Fishermen Of Padma RiverFishing is a one of the oldest profession in human history. From time immemorial, a large number of Bengali people have depended for their livelihood on fishing and relat-ed occupations. Fishermen in rural Bangladesh usually live a community life in neigh-borhoods or villages around the water bodies. They cooperate closely with one another not only in fishing, but also in economic activities, such as marketing and purchasing, and in social life and family affairs. They have lived communally for many generations, creating in the process their own history, distinct traditions, and patterns of daily life.
Padma is one of the biggest river of Bangladesh. Many fishing villages are growing around Padma. Fishing is their main profession. They do it from generation by gen-erations. But nowadays the community has changed gradually. Due to the decrease in fishing grounds and fishery resources, members of the fishing communities have tended to leave their traditional occupation in search of other jobs.
I worked on two fishing village name Bagra and Vaggokul at Mounsigong, mostly the villagers are Hindu religious. Once the villages are big but for the river collision it’s going smaller.For the last five years i try to document these communities daily lifestyle, believe and cultural activities which is lost day by day.

Tears on Highwayearly every morning, as i flip through the pages of the daily newspapersi find bold headlines — “bus-truck collision at tangail”, “7 dead, 20 injured”,“5 dead from the same family by private car-bus collision at sylhet”,“44 people dead at chittagong as truck turns upside down into a ditch,3 people in fatal condition………
everyday i see these news and I feel resentful, i feel loss, i feel empty, i feel helpless…….again so many more lives lost before they flourished, so many more families losing their beloved one, so many more families losing their only earning member and turned poorer or penniless……..
i see nobody cares; neither do i, nor does my country……….
i am quite happy living my own normal life, i am quite relieved that i haven’t lost a beloved in these road accidents……..
fortunate me taking my morning tea, turning over and over the newspaper pages, thinking myself very lucky and living everyday of my life, yet dying every moment……..
