My beginning..

• I live in Kuwait, where it lies on the north-western shore of the Arabian Gulf. It has many good fishing grounds, extensive coral reefs. The main activities we can do in Kuwait are, Fishing, Diving, swimming and Sailing.

• In May 2012 I went to the sates, Ithaca NY, one day we went to the rafting center. It was my first time to try such thing.

• It was great, fun, fantastic, wonderful, IT IS BEYOND WORDS.

How rafting effected my personal and professional life

Leadership

In rafting, each member should learn how to be a leader. When to decide to switch sides, or when to raft strongly to move the boat if it’s stuck to a rock and also when to take breaks. Moreover, it’s very important to be a leader on the rafting boat because if a member fell down in the river me ,as a leader, supposed to decide when and how to save that member.

• After the rafting round, you get an amazing feeling full of confidence that nothing is

impossible and a boost in your self esteem from the skills you learned.

Strategic Thinking • strategic thinking is needed

while planning the route and

the movement of the boat.

While in the boat, you should

expect many unexpected

factors that may occur out of a

sudden. The change in the

climate, the wind direction and

the stones that may bump into

the boat while peddling. All of

those factors need strategic

thinking to know exactly the

decision needed to save the

boat from flipping over and to

prevent the members from

injuries.
