The third and final meeting overall between the two teams this year, the Hounds are 2-0 against their northern counterparts. In nine all-time meetings with Toronto FC II, the Hounds hold an unbeaten record of 7-0-2. Its success does not stop there, as Pittsburgh has never lost to Toronto at home (4- 0-0). The Black and Gold will attempt to keep these streaks alive in a series that it holds an all-time goal differential of +15. The Hounds have excelled in general against their current Canadian foes in Ottawa and Toronto, having not lost in 12 straight matches between the two clubs. Fresh off a two-goal performance on Wednesday, forward Neco Brett is the must-watch player heading into Saturday’s match. Already with four goals tallied against Toronto, including a hat trick in May, Brett leads the Hounds with 10 goals and has three multi-goal games on the season. Brett’s double-digit output marks the fourth straight season the Hounds have had a player score 10 goals or more. Picking up the unusual zero-save shutout his last time out, goalkeeper Dan Lynd secured the single-season club record for clean sheets in a season with 10 in only 17 starts. The total surpasses current keeper coach Hunter Gilstrap and former Hound Randy Dedini, as Lynd currently leads the entire league in the statistical category. With a 0.59 goals-allowed-average to boot, Lynd also finds himself firmly in front for the USL Golden Glove, which would be a first for a Hound since Gilstrap won Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010. The first Hound to record multiple assists in a game this season, midfielder Kenardo Forbes accomplished the feat in only 25 minutes as a second-half substitute. The helper output increased his season total to six – a career-high for the four-year USL veteran. Continuing his ascent up the Hounds’ all-time ranks, midfielder Kevin Kerr will hit a milestone with his next appearance, upping his count to 150 games all-time in USL play. Kerr currently ranks second all-time in the category. Also of note, his next assist will tie him for first in franchise history with David Flavius (25). 2018 SCHEDULE & RECORD League Record: 10-3-7 Home: 6-2-3 • Away: 4-1-4 • Non-League Play: 1-1-0 MARCH Sat. 24 @Nashville SC CW T, 0-0 Sat. 31 PENN FC CW T, 0-0 APRIL Sat. 7 TORONTO FC II YouTube W, 4-0 Sat. 14 OTTAWA FURY FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sat. 21 @FC Cincinnati CW T, 2-2 Sat. 28 ATLANTA UNITED 2 ESPN+ W, 1-0 MAY Sat. 5 @Toronto FC II CW W, 2-1 Fri. 11 INDY ELEVEN ESPN+ T, 0-0 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round Two Wed. 16 @Erie Commodores FC N/A W, 2-1 Sat. 19 @Tampa Bay Rowdies CW T, 2-2 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round Three Wed. 23 FC CINCINNATI N/A L, 1-3 Sat. 26 PENN FC ESPN+ T, 0-0 Wed. 30 NASHVILLE SC ESPN+ L, 0-1 JUNE Sat. 2 @Richmond Kickers CW W, 2-1 Sat. 16 NEW YORK RED BULLS II CW W, 3-0 Sat. 23 @Charleston Battery CW T, 0-0 Wed. 27 @Louisville City FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 JULY Wed. 4 NORTH CAROLINA FC ESPN+ W, 2-0 Sun. 8 @Ottawa Fury FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sat. 21 CHARLESTON BATTERY ESPN+ L, 0-1 Sat. 28 @North Carolina FC CW L, 1-2 AUGUST Wed. 1 RICHMOND KICKERS ESPN+ W, 3-0 Sat. 4 TORONTO FC II ESPN+ 7 p.m. Sun. 12 @Bethlehem Steel FC CW 5 p.m. Sat. 18 CHARLOTTE INDEPENDENCE ESPN+ 7 p.m. Wed. 22 TAMPA BAY ROWDIES ESPN+ 7 p.m. Wed. 29 @Indy Eleven ESPN+ 7 p.m. SEPTEMBER Sat. 1 @FC Cincinnati CW 7:30 p.m. Sat. 8 BETHLEHEM STEEL FC ESPN+ 7 p.m. Sat. 15 LOUISVILLE CITY FC ESPN+ 7 p.m. Sat. 22 INDY ELEVEN ESPN+ 7 p.m. Wed. 26 @Penn FC ESPN+ 6:30 p.m. Sat. 29 @Charlotte Independence CW 7 p.m. OCTOBER Sat. 6 FC CINCINNATI ESPN+ 7 p.m. Wed. 10 @Atlanta United 2 ESPN+ 7 p.m. Sun. 14 @New York Red Bulls II CW 5 p.m. 2018 Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC > riverhounds.com > @RiverhoundsSC > #PGHvTOR LAST TIME OUT Last Game Summary Riverhounds SC 3, Richmond Kickers 0 Game 20 Highmark Stadium Aug. 1, 2018 INDIVIDUAL Category Riverhounds SC Opponent Points 7 - Neco Brett vs. Toronto (4/7) 2 - 10 times Goals 3 - Neco Brett vs. Toronto (4/7) 1 - 10 times Assists 2 - Kenardo Forbes vs. Richmond (8/1) 1 - Six times Shots 6 - Two times 6 - Lebo Moloto, Nashville (3/24) SOG 4 - Neco Brett [vs. NY (6/16), vs. RIC (8/1)] 3 - Junior Flemmings, Tampa Bay (5/19) Saves 5 - Dan Lynd at Louisville (6/27) 6 - Trevor Spangenberg, RIC (6/2) and (8/1) TEAM Hounds High Hounds Low Category Opp High Opp Low 11 - vs. Toronto (4/7) 0 - Seven times Points 5 - Three times 0 - 13 times 4 - vs. Toronto (4/7) 0 - Seven times Goals 2 - Three times 0 - 13 times 3 - Two times 0 - Eight times Assists 1 - Six times 0 - 14 times 20 - at Richmond (6/2) 5 - at Charleston (6/23) Shots 15 - Two times 2 - at OTT (7/8) 9 - vs. Richmond (8/1) 1 - Two times SOG 5 - Three times 0 - Three times 5 - at Louisville (6/27) 0 - Three times Saves 6 - Two times 0 - Two times 23 - vs. New York (6/16) 8 - vs. Indy Eleven (5/11) Fouls 17 - at Cincinnati (4/21) 5 - vs. Indy Eleven (5/11) SUPERLATIVES CLUB NOTABLES All-Time Leading Goal Scorer ......................................................................
