Recently we spoke to Rodolfo, Tu Casas manager. He has worked in the restaurant business in New York City for over 20 years.

We are unique, Rodolfo says. We are the only Latino restaurant around this area. And not only Latino but quality. The majority of people in the neighborhood are European and the majority of the restaurants are French and Greek.

Rodolfo continues, So I like to invite people who havent been here to introduce them to what good Latino food is all about.

While Tu Casas owner us of Dominican and Honduran descent, the chef happens to be Peruvian and three quarters of the menu is Peruvian.

When asked which menu item is the most popular, Rodolfo says Lomo saltado and also pollo saltado

The restaurant is busiest on Friday and Saturday nights, though they are open at lunchtime and have regulars who come every day. During the work week, Tu Casa also has a happy hour in the evening.
