amenitiesseveral dining options, event space, live poker, and also a

parking garage. It is beautiful, spacious, and a real game-changer for our

team, our players, and the city.

A mega development is planned for the area along the Schuylkill

River. Led by developers NP International, the new project, River Walk

(np-international.com), will have three mixed-use towers, including resi-

dential spaces, a hotel, and retail shops. River Walk is a mixed-use

development that seeks to bring retail, commercial, residential, and hotel

amenities to a prime location within the greater Center City area, says

Brent Reynolds, president and managing partner of NP International.

The tower will occupy the previously vacant lot east and west between

23rd Street and the Schuylkill and north and south between JFK

Boulevard and Race Street. With close proximity to 30th Street Station,

downtown, and the Schuylkill River, this site will provide resources for

its users and neighbors alike, as well as achieving a thoughtfully planned

    residential environment.

With an approval from the Philadelphia Planning Commission, the first

building will sit 42 floors above the ground, with the other two reaching

half that height at 21 stories. An additional aspect, pegged as the Arch

Street Promenade, will act as a link between the residential and retail

spaces. The development team has been working closely to be responsive

to the various stakeholders in order to create a plan that is executable and

maximizes the propertys potential in the best interest of Logan Square, the

City of Philadelphia, and the project itself, adds Reynolds. Site consider-

ations for view corridors and parking impacts have undergone careful

consideration in cultivating the proper design solution.

The developers are also creating a pedestrian staircase and handi-

capped-accessible ramp. The ramp will float just above the river from

JFK Boulevard and extend to below 23rd and Cuthbert Streets, which,
