    s"itc#. It is e2ui''ed "it# an auto$atic tri''ing de/ice to 'rotect t#e branc# circuit

    !ro$ o/erload and ground !ault.

    A !use is also an o/ercurrent 'rotecti/e de/ice "it# a circuit o'ening !usible ele$ent

    "#ic# o'ens "#en t#ere is an o/ercurrent in t#e circuit. It is considered as t#e

    si$'lest and t#e $ost co$$on circuit 'rotecti/e de/ice used into t#e #ouse "iring

    connection.

    . T#e circuit brea%er acts as a s"itc# aside !ro$ its being an o/ercurrent de/ice.
