Jack Taylor, music DirectorThe Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra has been training tomorrow’s classical musicians since 1972 and is considered among the best youth orchestras in the Southland. This extraordinary ensemble is comprised of gifted middle school students from grades six to nine who receive advanced instruction and challenging musical opportunities in a rigorous program that emphasizes ensemble playing through engaging rehearsals and uplifting performances. Celebrating its 38 year history, the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce the addition of the PYSO Alumni Association.

Our Musical Circus is a perennial favorite for families and children, ages 3-8. Each Musical Circus takes place at The American at Brand and begins with an instrument “petting zoo” where youngsters can toot flutes, blow trumpets, pluck violins and bang on percussion instruments. Following the petting zoo, Musical Circus will feature special guest performers that bring a fun and interactive musical experience to kids of all ages!

It’s a FREE event, so bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun music making! Sundays from 2:00-3:30 pm at The Americana at Brand in Glendale.
