Pray for the Anderson family (Mikal, Leana and Mikal’s Mom Wendy). Denny Anderson went home to be with Jesus this week. Pray for God’s comfort during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held April 7 at Sunrise Golf Course, Hwy 10 and 188th Street, Surrey, BC from 1 –4pm.

Bill Knowles passed away this week on Thursday morning. We give thanks that he is in the presence of God. Please keep Phyllis and the family in your prayers. Memorial Service to be announced.

Pray for the Starr family, Terry, Trudy, Kevin and Candace who lost their son and brother, Darren suddenly on March 7th. Please pray for comfort and peace during this difficult time. People who were part of the early Mexico Missions teams will know this family.

Please continue to pray for Shirley Bruno as she continues her Chemotherapy. Pray that the treatment would be both effective, and that the side effects would be little. Please continue to pray for healing to come, and continued strength and peace for Mike and Rea-Ana Pray for Joe Sward who injured his back some time ago. Please pray that it would heal soon so that he can return to work.

Raj & Kim Vannadil have been officially accepted as career missionaries with Fellowship International. They will be involved in leadership development for church leaders in India. Please pray for them as they begin the long and difficult process of finding other churches in BC who will partner with them for financial, practical, and prayer support. It would be amazing if they could depart in 2012. Pray that God will provide. There is an individual who has passed the B.C. Church Planter Assessment. Please pray for the Leadership Team for discernment as they interview this candidate to determine if he is the right individual for Parkland.

When you come to church, you don’t need to be experienced in the game of church. As a matter of fact, we try hard to ensure that nobody feels engaged in any kind of religious game. At Parkland, you don’t have to dress up in a particular uniform. You don’t have to be a particular age. Most of all, you don't have to feel the need to pretend to be anything other than who you really are. Just come as you are, pick up a cup of coffee or tea, and relax! One thing is for sure—no experience is necessary.
