THANKSGIVING AT THE FOOD PANTRY
The Mater Christi Food Pantry is getting ready for our annual
Thanksgiving distribution for our clients which will take place on
Tuesday, November 26th. We expect to provide
100 households from our pantry with all of the
“fixings” for a complete Thanksgiving dinner. We
will also continue to help the Cathedral Food
Pantry by donating funds for turkeys. Please see the Thanksgiv-
ing flyer on the table in the Gathering Area. We are requesting
donations of specific food items, disposable roasting pans, reusa-
ble grocery bags and monetary contributions for the purchase of
meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, rolls, and desserts. Mater
Christi parishioners have been very generous to this program
every year, and we ask for your help again this year. Thank you
for your kindness and may God bless you!
A Mass for the Anointing of the Sick will
be held on Saturday, November 23,
at 4:00pm to bring spiritual strength,
comfort, and healing to those who are
ill, elderly, or facing surgery. Please
attend and reach out to fellow parish-
ioners who wish to be anointed, but
may need assistance.
EARLY SUBMISSION DATES FOR BULLETIN
Bulletins for the weekend of Nov. 30/Dec. 1 need to be submitted
early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Please submit all entries
by Thursday, November 21, at 10:00am. Thank you in advance.
