Paper Bag Killer Whale

Materials: Paper lunch bag (brown

or white) Crayons (or markers) Glue or tape Shredded office paper

or old newspaper Scissors Black and white

construction paper

Procedure:1. Color all sides of the paper bag, which will be the body of the

whale. Be sure to color the mouth and the eyes. (The opening will be the tail so fold the flap of the bottom of the bag down to creates the mouth. The eyes should be on the narrow sides of the bag.)

2. Cut out each body part from the provided template.3. Tape or glue the dorsal fin onto the bag (the broad side).4. Fill the bag with shredded office paper or newspaper.5. Fold the opening of the bag down 1 inch and staple.6. Tape or glue the remaining body parts (tail fluke, 2 pectoral

flippers, and 2 false eye spots).
