A Look at Next

Week…

Week 8th-12th of December - Our Topic is

“Qatar History and National Day Celebration”

The children will continue to learn about the heritage through the

Peal Industry, Gas and Oil culture, customs and Tradition, they will

also be introduced to the Map of Qatar and its vision for the

future. They will be taking part in various actives and sessions during the week in relation to

topic. QATAR NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION will be held on Sunday 15th December.

Story of the week takes place every Sunday morning, we gather each

year group in the Hall to share the experience of Story Telling.

OBJECTIVE: is to teach the children to listen attentively and inter-

act; respond to what they have heard and seen within a bigger group session.

Reading Books

Starting Next Term

The Kindergarten will start introducing Early Literacy Programme

from Term 2, You child will borrow one book a week where he/she

can take home to read and bring back to school by the end of the week.

Early Literacy aims to help students develop emotional intelligence, imagination and

creatively; it supports the growth and development of the student personality and social

skills.

School Photography: The school Annual Photographs viewing cards are sent home with your

child today, his/her unique sitting ID will allow you to access your child pictures online, please

visit www.pret-a-portrait.net and follow instructions.

Qatar National Day: The Kindergarten will be celebrating Qatar National day on Sunday the

15th of December where children will be taking part in Varies activities during the day, details

in letter sent home today.

Colour Day: Tuesday the 17th of December, our Colour day will be Green, kindly dress your

child in green to the celebrate the end of the month with us.

End of Term 1 Break: The school will break for end of term holiday (Winter Break) from

18th of December to 4th of January 2020.

Last day of the term 1 is Tuesday 17th December & School will reopen for Term 2 on Sunday

the 5th January.

Physical Education

PE for KG1 will be one fixed session per week as follows: Sunday: KG1A – Ms Rachael Monday: KG1B – Ms Rizza

REMINDER:-

Uniform; Please ensure that school uniform or PE clothes are worn everyday during the school

day.

Drop off; For the safety of your child, children must not be left at the gate or in the build-

ing/ reception with no adult supervision, he/she must be dropped in classroom if arriving on or

after 7:25.

Teachers: will be available to answer any queries or questions you may have every Sunday to
