Modern enclosure technology is measured against ROLEC. The ROLEC
founder is the pioneer of enclosure technology. Finished enclosure systems for
the protection of electrics and electronics have only existed since Friedhelm Rose
came upon the idea. 1970. His first enclosure system became the standard:
aluKOM. It is still produced and utilised around the world today. The name of its
inventor became the brand name: ROSE.
ROLEC has the longest proven know-how in the development and production
of enclosures for machinery and vehicle manufacturing, aircraft production, the

Rolec milestones in enclosure development.
Still an enclosure pioneer today. “Progress in the
enclosure industry takes place at ROLEC”. ROLEC
is not only a pioneer but also the technical leader in
enclosure construction from metal. Good work takes
place within a good working climate. There is an
enthusiasm for creativity, a pleasure in cooperation,
in belonging, in being involved. The success belongs
to everyone. CAD design and the modern produc-
tion facilities enable optimum ongoing development,
quality and flexibility. Cooperation with customers is
close, and they know what they have in ROLEC. Du-

Through six enclosure ranges for example, ROLEC
occupies a unique position. Milestones are the revo-

closure. New technologies such as BUS systems and

Good example: Just four screws and even contact pressure guarantee leak-tightness. Why do they need to detract from the appearance? With aluPLUS the attachment level disappears beneath a retrospectively easy clip-on plastic design cover. The ap-pealing result: An elegant design previously unknown in standard industrial enclosures.
ROLEC has no role models. ROLEC is the standard. The analysis of thousands of orders shows what users want. Why then constantly repeat working processes, when the same things have been considered for so many requirements!? For example: The recess in the lid surface for protecting the edges of the membrane keypad.
Another example: The ROLEC enclosures aluCASE, aluPLUS, aluDISC. The application of externally mounted feet for external fas- tening is not necessary.

High quality moulds and tools. ROLEC enclosures are produced on leading-edge aluminium die casting and plastic injection moulding machines. Top quality is only guar-anteed by high quality moulds. ROLEC investments are high. The moulded enclo-sures should be essentially cavity-free and have surfaces that fulfil the demands.

In autumn 2010 it was time to celebrate the new premises with 3,000 square me-tres of additional space, the new lobby and the newly designed outdoor space. The house is open, and is becoming more so.
