Public Hearing for an Ordinance temporarily reducing the Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue Services, Roads, Schools, Parks and Recreation Impact Fees

Purpose

On March 29, 2011 the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved:

• 25% Reduction of Impact Fees• Effective for 18 months or until Fee is

updated • Consult with Orange County Public

Schools (OCPS) concerning the School Impact Fee

Impact Fees are one-time assessments charged by local governments to new development to fund a proportionate share of capital improvements attributed to that development.
