B.Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactoryconditions have been corrected.

3.2 INSTALLATIONA. General: Comply with ASTM E557, manufacturer’s

written installation instructions, Drawings andapproved shop drawings.

B.When practical, install panels after other finishingoperations, including painting have been completedto protect against damage.

C. Match operable partitions by installing panels frommarked packages in numbered sequence indicated on Shop Drawings.

D.Broken, cracked, chipped, deformed or unmatchedpanels are not acceptable.

E. Make connections to power as specified in Division26 – Electrical.

3.3 CLEANING AND PROTECTIONA. Clean partition surfaces upon completing installation

of operable partitions to remove dust, dirt, adhesives,and other foreign materials according tomanufacturer’s written instructions.

B.Provide final protection and maintain conditions in amanner acceptable to the manufacturer and Installerthat insure operable partitions are without damage ordeterioration at time of Substantial Completion.

3.4 DEMONSTRATIONA. Adjust operable partitions to operate smoothly, easily,

and quietly, free from binding, warp, excessivedeflection, distortion, nonalignment, misplacement,disruption, or malfunction throughout entireoperational range. Lubricate hardware and othermoving parts.

B.Demonstrate proper operation and maintenanceprocedures to Owner’s representative. Comply with[Section 01 79 00] [________].

C. Provide Operation and Maintenance Manual toOwner’s representative.

D.Provide warranty paperwork to Owner’s representative.
