Element constructionThe encapsulating, sealed composite based on sandwichtechnology and comprisinglight, sturdy outer shells sur-rounding an acoustic core con-stitutes a revolutionary design.The compact constructionalintegrity of the overall systemensures outstanding sound and

smoke protection. The frameconstruction with all-round sea-ling extrusion creates a self-supporting entity. The profilesthemselves are acousticallydecoupled by all-round flexibleextrusions to ensure significantlyreduced levels of structure-borne sound transmission. The vertical convex/concave

aluminium profiles with theirintegrated quad-lip gasket anddeep positive interlock ensure optimum sealing and stabilityof the element joint. And thealuminium channel sectionsserving as the top and bottomclosure profiles hold the actuating mechanisms of thestandard ComforTronic system.

Also available as a fire-retardant B1 system for reduced fire load.

ComforTronic® control contactsPower is transmitted from ele-ment to element via end-facesliding contacts. The system issupplied on a plug & play basis,i.e. the ComforTronic merely has to be connected to a poweroutlet. In the event of a power

failure, the sealing strips canalso, of course, be manuallyoperated. It also eliminates thetime and effort associated withmanual crank operations andavoids the operator forgetting tofully wind up the seals.

Intelligent design down to the last detail.

ComforTronic®

The ComforTronic actuatingsystem comes as standard andserves to extend and retract thehorizontal seals (sealing strips) of the individual elements, andalso the telescopic sleeve of thetelescopic elements – all underautomatic electronic control. Thismeans that anyone can operatethe partition without the need forspecial training. It also eliminatesthe time and effort associated with manual crank operations and provides for excellent soundinsulation and system stability.The entire partition opening and closing operation can be performed at twice the speed ofthat associated with conventionalpartitions.

Extendable horizontal sealingstripsEach element is provided top andbottom with extendable, spring-mounted, flexible double-chamberquad lip seals. These are actuatedby the ComforTronic mechanismand, when extended, press againstthe floor surface and ceiling track.The spring pressure allows forautomatic adaptability to floorunevenness. The correct sealingstrip contact pressure provided bythe ComforTronic keeps the loadon the screed or other floor cover-ings within acceptable limits. Theresult is excellent seal-tightnessand stability of the system, withthe elements reliably preventedfrom being dislodged.

Suspension systemThe elements are suspendedfrom impact-dampening (i.e.shock absorbing) roller bolts.This reduces the transmission ofimpact forces and operatingnoise, while also preventing flexure or fracture of the bolts.The elements, track and rollercarriers are ideally protected.The vertical height of the ele-ments can be readjusted whilein their installed condition, i.e.without the need to open themup or remove them from the track.

Surrounding sealing The element is effectively sealedby an endless, all-round flexibleextrusion (same frame sealing

principle as used for windowcasements), with the profiles andcover plates acoustically isolatedas a result.

Element interconnectionCombined positive and frictionlocking, convex/concave aluminiumprofiles with generous mating depth and integrated quad-lip gasket for optimum sealing. The vertical profiles are mounted in flexible backing profiles for acousticisolation.

Corner sealing Specially shaped, flexible andflush-mounted sealing strip endmouldings of polyurethane ensureexceptional sealing top and bottom and increase the stabilityof the system.

The elements of the DORMAMOVEO system are exceptionallyeasy to slide manually into place.As soon as two elements are pushed together, the end-facecontacts close the power supplycircuit and the ComforTronicextends the sealing strips underelectronic control. This ensuresthat the partition is correctly

closed and achieves excellent stability and sound insulation.Opening the partition again ismerely a matter of throwing aswitch. This causes the sealingstrips to retract and the elementsto be released, allowing them tobe taken manually to their parkingposition – all with the utmost easeand speed.

Track system type R.

R-type track: Track system for right-angled configurations with cross-rollercarriers for maximum possible layout variability; suitable for weights up to 500 kg per element. Support rollers in the junctions guarantee simpleoperation when sliding the elements across intersections.

K-type track: Compact track system with minimum dimensions andmechanically coded junction technology with curves and switches for easyoperation; suitable for weights up to 250 kg per element.
