Introduction
Welcome to Tomorrow’s Workplace Online Training! This Student Manual will give an overview
of the features offered to you as a student. It is a great guide for navigating and understanding the
Web site for students.
This student manual is full of step-by-step illustrations, as well as detailed text of the features
available on Online training. The following is a brief description of each section. What is Online Training?
Overview of the training platform.
eCampus
The eCampus is the online student environment offering training, resources, test results,
instructor assignments, and e-Support.
Student Services
These services include resources to assist the student, such as Optimization Tips, Frequently
Asked Questions, Contact Information and the Help Desk.
What is Online training? Online training is both a training product and service, delivered over the Internet. It is a powerful
learning environment specific to the certification IT and business application market. Students
can learn in a visual, compelling environment. It is a blended training solution including video,
audio clips, full-motion graphics, and animated illustrations. Online training also offers skill as-
sessment, links to supplemental resources and testing.
Online training is designed for students who want to train at their own pace and still receive
quality education from experts who can keep them on track and on schedule. Our program teach-
es our online students how to study, what to study, and how to make the best of their study time.
eCampus
Once you log on and enter the eCampus, you will be on the My Courses page. The tabs along the
top have changed to correlate with your e-learning environment.
My Courses Tab
On the My Courses page, all courses assigned to the student will be listed.
1. To activate a course, click on the course title. This will take you to the Active Course
page.
Active Courses Tab The Course link will take you to the Active Course page, as shown below. This page has many
options. Notice the links located on the left side of the screen.
When you wish to start your training, click one of the Course Sessions. This will take you to the
Assignments page specific for the selected Session.
Each Course may be divided in Sessions. This is where you choose the Session you wish
to work on. A check mark will show next to each successfully completed Session.
Assignments Tab Once you have selected a Session from the Active Course Page, it will take you to the
Assignments page as shown below. This page has numerous training elements for the student.
The Course Content may be found under My Assignments (right) and is divided into features:
Pre-test, Training, Labs, and Post-test. To begin, choose the feature link desired. By choosing the
Launch Training link the training interface will launch automatically
Training & Testing Interface The following graphics give a brief overview of the different features of Online Training’s
interface, but for an in-depth demonstration of the Training Interface access the Virtual Tour by
clicking the Online Help Files found under the Help Desk on Online Training.
The Training begins immediately once launched. The Index will track where you are, where you
have been and what topics you have remaining to view. You have control over what you learn
and when by clicking on the index topics to jump ahead or back.
The Index (located on the right) can be opened or closed at your preference. Check marks
indicate topics that have been covered whereas bullets indicate the topics that have not
been covered.
Rewind, Stop, Pause, Fast-forward Pre-Test and Post-Test buttons are located at the bottom of
the training screen. The HOME button will close the training window and return you to the
assignments page.
Testing Interface
While taking the Pre-Test (right), The Reference button will refer the student to the correspond-
ing training topic. The Report button will review their current score, and the Training button to
return to the Assignments page.
The student may access the Item Review button to review each question’s status or offer a
