Nutrition & Well BeingCulinary Services places the utmost emphasis on healthy food options and your general well-being. Each Dining Court/Hall o� ers diverse menus, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and numerous low-fat items. All Dining Courts/Halls also supply soy and Lactaid milk.

We encourage students and guests with special diet needs to call 740.593.2970 or email [email protected] to set up an appointment with our knowledgeable nutritional sta� for additional information and guidance regarding their on-campus dining options.

SustainabilityCulinary Services is committed to the environment in several ways in support of the University Sustainability Plan and the Ohio University community:

• Increasing purchases from local vendors

• Providing a reusable bag option within all Campus Markets and Grab N Go’s to reduce plastic bag waste

• Supplying local and organically-grown/Fair Trade co� ee options in select dining/cafés across campus

• Utilizing OHIO’s composting vessels (the largest of any college in the nation) to compost product waste from numerous Culinary Services venues

• Collaborating to incorporate sustainable design elements, renewable materials and equipment e� ciencies throughout venue renovations

Culinary Support KitchenCulinary Services ensures product consistency, quality and freshness through production within its Central Food Facility. This on-campus facility includes its own full-service bakery, a full production kitchen, vegetable preparation area and is implementing a gluten-free kitchen to better serve on-campus patrons with special dietary needs.
