DINING HALLSShively Court This recently renovated dining venue features its own specially-crafted pizza crust and an extensive list of dining options, including: Mexican, Italian, homestyle, grill, salad bar, vegetarian, soups, deli, and a dessert station. Shively Court also has a Grab ‘N Go and a carry-out option.

Nelson CourtAs our newest venue, Nelson Court allows visitors to experience different tastes from a variety of different regional concepts, including: Asian fusion, all-day breakfast, BBQ, Mediterranean cuisine, and an extensive salad bar. It also offers a carry-out option for those on-the-go, a new Campus Café, and an expanded Campus Market.

Jefferson Dining HallOffers wok and wrap bars as well as a variety of concepts including: a smoothie bar, a deli station, and a salad bar. Jefferson Dining Hall also offers a carry-out option for those on-the-go and a Campus Market.

Boyd Dining HallBoyd Dining Hall features Ohio University sports memorabilia and offers popular items such as burritos, wraps, pastas, deli, a full salad bar and a health-focused “Training Tables” concept. It has a Grab ‘N Go as well as a Campus Market.

JOBS WITH CULINARYOhio University Culinary Services is the largest student employer on campus employing over 1,300 students each year.

GRAB ‘N GOShively Grab ‘N Go Located on the East Green, Shively Grab ‘N Go offers made-to-order sandwiches on sub rolls baked fresh daily from our bakery. Other specialties include the Shively Triple Chocolate signature cookie “Shookie,” breakfast sandwiches, kettle fried potato chips, and fresh fruit.

Boyd Grab ‘N Go Located on the West Green, Boyd Grab ‘N Go offers custom-made deli sandwiches, salads, chicken tenders, and fresh soups.

TO-GO OPTIONSEach dining hall offers a carry-out option providing students the opportunity to take a meal on-the-go after choosing from a variety of menu selections. The to-go service is offered at select meal periods based on each venue’s operational schedule.

Jefferson All Meal Periods offer the to-go service, based on normal hours of operation

Nelson Court To-go service is offered for Lunch and Dinner

CAFÉSCafé BiblioTechLocated on the first floor of Alden Library, Café BiblioTech serves Seattle’s Best Coffee ® and offers a variety of pastries, juices, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and soups.

OU-COM SAF CaféLocated in the Academic and Research Center, OU-COM SAF Café serves locally roasted coffee as well as a variety of snacks, salads, wraps, and pastries.

South Side Espresso BarSouth Side Espresso Bar is a new venue located next to Nelson Court and offers coffee and blended specialty drinks.

BAKER UNIVERSITY CENTERWest 82 Food CourtOffers a food court setting with many quick service choices including a grill, international concepts, pizza and pastas, a deli, soup station, and full salad bar.

Latitude 39Ohio University’s flagship dining experience, Latitude 39 offers casual dining with a menu that includes pastas, sandwiches, salads, special entrées, drinks, and spirits.

The Front Room CoffeehouseProudly brews Starbucks Coffee ® and offers a variety of juices, pastries, wraps, fresh salads, and sandwiches. The Front Room provides a relaxing atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, and a small stage for events.

TRADITIONALTraditional Meal Plans offer a defined number of non-refundable/non-transferable weekly meals for use in any Dining Hall or Grab ‘N Go. All meals must be used each week by Saturday night.

14 Meal Plan: 14 meals/week for use at Dining Halls or Grab ‘N Go’s (2012-13: $2,042/sem; $4,084/yr)

20 Meal Plan: 20 meals/week for use at Dining Halls or Grab ‘N Go’s (2012-13: $2,181/sem; $4,362/yr)

FLEX MEAL PLANSFlex Meal Plans offer the convenience of being able to convert an unused meal for $6.25 worth of items at any Campus Market. Flex Meal Plans offer a defined number of weekly meals for use at any Dining Hall and Grab ‘N Go. Additionally, these plans feature Flex Points to use at Baker University Center food venues or at any Campus Café. One Flex Point equals one dollar. Students can also use their meals to pay for guests.

Flex 14: 14 meals/week with $225 Flex Points per semester (2012-2013: $2,700/sem; $5,400/yr)

ADDITIONAL SERVICESCatering ServicesCatering Services offers an array of services from a formal dinner to student gatherings, special celebrations, and more. Ohio University Catering can customize a menu for almost any event and is available at all times. For more information, please visit www.ohio.edu/catering.

Birthday ClubThe Birthday Club is a program that gives parents and friends the opportunity to buy a 9-inch double layered cake or chocolate chip cookie for a student for any special occasion. All items include plates, napkins, forks, and a small message card with a personal message from the sender. Order online at www.ohio.edu/bakery and click on Birthday Club.

Culinary Support CenterThrough centralized production, the Culinary Support Center ensures consistency and quality in delivering the freshest product. Housing its own bakery, full production kitchen, and vegetable processing operation, efficiencies are gained in production that further enable the use of regional resources and ingredients. Pre-ordered vegetable platters and selection of baked goods are also available to the Ohio University community.

NUTRITION AND WELL BEINGEach of our Dining Halls and Culinary venues offer a variety of menu options including vegetarian and vegan items. All Dining Halls offer soy and Lactaid milk.

Students with special diets can call 740.593.2970 or e-mail [email protected] to set-up an appointment with our nutrition resource staff.

SUSTAINABILITYAs part of Ohio University’s efforts to increase sustainability, Culinary Services is committed to “Going Green” in several ways:

• Increasing purchases from local producers

• Local partnerships support offering organically grown and fair trade coffee in select dining venues and cafés

• Through campus collaborations, composting product waste from Shively Court, Nelson Court, West 82 and The Culinary Support Center by utilizing largest university-owned composting facility

• Incorporating sustainable design elements, renewable materials, new infrastructure, and equipment efficiencies within venue renovations

• Currently working to achieve LEED Silver certification on Nelson Commons renovation
