Having done many healthcare ed-ucation projects together, the team has a deep well of knowledge and experience from which to draw. Their portfolio and presentation addressed all aspects of the request, and showed innovative ways to incorporate technology and health care simulations into the design in order to enhance healthcare-related pedagogy. They presented a good plan for project management.

2. Orcutt Winslow, LLP

The team showed extensive knowledge of and sensitivity to healthcare education and its impacts on building design, and innovative approaches to site planning and sensitiv-ity to the campus master plan, and adjacent areas. The firm’s approach to program-ming—emphasizing adaptability vs obsolescence through innovative applications of

technology—and finding economies in programming was very resourceful, and demon-strated their ability to think beyond meeting the immediate need. 3. Moody Nolan, Inc.

The firm showed a well-thought-out plan for design continuity and implementation, with a thorough focus on ideas for efficient utilization of space. They did a good job demon-strating the importance of utilizing technology to assist teaching. The team had an ex-cellent portfolio and addressed all aspects of the request. They focused on forward thinking design to accommodate future needs, and conscientiously brought diverse per-spectives into the design. They showed extensive knowledge of healthcare education trends, and demonstrated extensive knowledge of campus and community considera-tions, and sensitivity to sustainability and future growth. They gave specific attention to the renovations schedule and how that might impact the overall schedule.
