Development and Peace Fall Action Campaign
Thank You! For responding to the call of Pope Francis to take action on curbing climate change.
Over 100 people at Holy Trinity signed Development & Peace Action Cards last weekend, asking Prime Minister Trudeau to take action at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) being held in Paris in December. You can still take personal action to help reduce climate change., by filling out a D&P card in the Gathering area (no postage required). You can also changes such as making your home more energy
efficient; buying less, re-using, repairing, recycling & composting.
The 2015 Archdiocesan An-nual Appeal Campaign is underway! The "Appeal Year" runs from January to Decem-ber, with the public campaign in the Fall. You may donate to the Appeal throughout the year — at Holy Trinity, we have the opportunity to distribute our donations throughout the year using the monthly offer-ing envelope in our envelope boxes. You may also just choose to make a one-time donation during this Fall Campaign. The various options for making a donation are avail-able so that you may contribute to the mission of the church in our midst in a way that correlates to your ability. You should have already received information on this year’s Appeal with your personal donation cards. If you did not receive one in the mail with this fall, there are extra pledge cards/brochures in the Gathering Area. Giving is one way we have of both growing the Church, and deepening our Spiritual lives. Allow God’s own generosity to bear abundant fruit through your gifts as you support your Church in the Archdiocese of Regina. To date, Holy Trinity has raised over $24,000 of its
$63,000 goal.
Next MOM’S GROUP—Wed. Nov 18, 9:30—10:30 am. Join us to share coffee, snacks, stories, tips.
