Student Spotlight
Imani Jones, JuniorImani Jones has been involved with CIS since he came to
McKean last year from Red Lion as a sophomore. At first, th
transition from a private to a public high school proved to be
challenge, but like many other obstacles Imani has faced, he
overcame and achieved. At our CIS 2011-2012 closing
celebration, Imani and his father gave the keynote speech an
as a 15 year old, he really proved himself to be a person of m
wiser means beyond his years. Imani has completed several
programs with CIS over the past 2 years. He has been involv
with Junior Achievement curriculum and field trips, The Choi
Roadpresentation on anti-violence, On Track and many otheday to day check-ins. We asked Imani to tell us what he thought of CIS and this is what
said. I love CIS, because they love me. Ms. Trish and Ms. Katie are always ready to he
no matter what the problem is. CIS has really opened my eyes to the fact that I can rea
go to college. Im involved in the On Track program because of them and this is why I l
CIS!
