For those of you who had theopportunity last week to participatein the 2018 PRSA InternationalConference in Austin I hope yougained valuable insights andinspiration to keep your careermoving forward We had a greatcontingent of attendees from ourPRSA Orlando chapter and we eventbrought home the second-placenational award for our focus onDiversity amp Inclusion Irsquom very proudof our board members who made thisa reality and I know wersquove onlybegun our journey to better understand how to embraceand leverage DampI in our chapter and in our workplacesCongratulations to everyone on this achievement

PRSA Sunshine District IsSet To Host First-Ever APRBoot Camp The PRSA Sunshine District is hosting its first-ever APR BootCamp Nov 7-10 at Nova Southeastern University in FortLauderdale Fla

Why register for the APR Boot Camp The APR Boot Camp isa four-day intensive course for candidates to prepare andadvance through the Panel Presentation and take thecomputer-based Examination for Accreditation in PublicRelations (APR) or Accreditation in Public Relations +Military Communication (APR+M)

This course is designed to provide a setting that will meetthe needs of busy professionals whose schedules do notpermit extensive preparation time

What will the APR Boot Camp cover

Day One Panel presentation preparation in the morningfollowed by a panel presentation in the afternoon

Day Two Full-day preparation for computer-basedexamination

Day Three Morning preparation session for computer-based examination afternoon peer study time




Day Four Computer-based exam at the Prometric TestingCenter in Fort Lauderdale Fla
