5. Icing:Cream1/4cupbutterinasmallbowlwithanelectricmixer.Graduallyadd1cupofthesugarwhilecontinuingtomix.MapleSyrup,remaining11/4cupssugarandmapleextract.Beatathighspeeduntilsmooth.Icingshouldbethickenoughtopipe.Spoonmixtureintopastrybagwithasmallroundorstar-shapedtip.Pipeaswirloficingoneachtart.
