Thank You!....
This is the month we focus on being thankful for the bless-
ings in our life. Most of us traditionally share Thanksgiving
with our families, appreciating them more and more as time
goes on. Even when some of our family has gone before us
we still can give thanks for having had the gift of those in
our lives that we have been given a chance to love. There
are other “Families” of sorts as well in our lives. The Senior
Center is a very good example. “We are family” here. Com-
plete with laughter, tears and even sometimes a disagree-
ment or two, this Senior Center fills a need in all of our lives
to be a part of every variety of family. So here’s to giving
thanks for each other. To our family members here and
gone, and to our extended families, here at the center or
wherever you gather. We are all better together and like I
said at the beginning, “Thank You!” You are all so im-
portant in each other’s lives and you surely deserve a
Thanksgiving Feast to celebrate the gratitude
for all the gifts we have been given!
November highlights added to our regular activities…

I used this last year and it is worth repeating. We all need to be happy about something positive!
“Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu. When someone smiled at me today, I start-ed smiling too. I passed around the corner, and someone saw my grin. When he smiled I realized, I’d passed it on to him. I thought about that smile, then I realized its worth, A single smile, just like mine, could travel ‘round the earth. So, if you feel a smile begin, don’t leave it undetected. Let’s start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected.” Author: John Leroy Maxwell
Keep the smile going! EVERYONE NEEDS A SMILE!!! Be Happy! Lynda
