Math formulas:

Formula #1:

X ml = desired dose (mg) x volume on hand (volume in bottle)

Dose on hand (mg in bottle)

Multiply desired dose (mg) by volume on hand

Then divide by dose (in mg) in bottle

Formula #2:

mg in bottle = mg ordered

ml in bottle x ml (the unknown)

Line up mg across from mg and ml across from ml

Cross multiply numbers (forget that you’re intermingling mg and ml for now)

Get “x” by itself by dividing by whatever number is with x (do the same to the other side

of the equal sign)

You get a fraction (ie: 150/100)

Divide the top number by the bottom number to get your answer
