Sriharikota, Feb 26 Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10)will launch Geo Imaging Satellite (GISAT-1) from theSecond Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre(SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch is tentativelyscheduled at 1743 hrs IST on March 5, 2020, subject toweather conditions. Weighing about 2275 kg, GISAT-1 is a state-of-the-artagile Earth observation satellite which will be placed ina Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit by GSLV-F10.Subsequently, the satelli te will reach the finalgeostationary orbit using its onboard propulsionsystem.

New Delhi, Feb 26The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issuedan advisory to all private satellite TV channels askingthem to be cautious about content that may encourage orincite violence or contains anything against themaintenance of law and order or which promote anti-national attitudes.The advisory came in the wake of violence in some partsof northeast Delhi on Tuesday. The advisory also calledon private channels to be cautious of content that containsattack on religion or communities or visuals or wordscontemptuous of religious groups or which promotecommunal attitudes.It also cautioned against content that may carrydefamatory, deliberate, false and suggestive innuendosand half-truths. The advisory asked channels to ensurethat no content is telecast which is violative of theProgramme and Advertising Codes as prescribed in theCable Television Network (Regulation) Act, 1995.All private satellite TV channels have been requested toensure strict compliance of the advisory.
