Sport and fitness is part of our DNA at Bond. All students are encouraged to participate in their choice of more than 20 different sports on campus, playing and competing under the ‘Bond Bull Sharks’ banner.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, you can try out for our rugby, swimming, netball, basketball, cheerleader or even equestrian clubs.
Bondies also get free membership to the Sports Centre where they can work out in state of the art gym, join in regular group fitness classes such as TRX, boxing, yoga, pilates, use pool, tennis, squash, basketball or volleyball courts or spa! We are also committed to supporting student athletes through our Bond Elite Sport Program (BESP). Bond is a member of the Australian Sports Commission’s Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Network, which provides guidelines for flexible study. STUDENT FOR A SEMESTER PROGRAMDo you want to gain an authentic university experience before you finish high school? Bond University gives Year 11 and 12 students the opportunity to get a head start on their university studies before they finish high school, through the Student for a Semester program.
Successfully complete one subject to gain credit towards your future tertiary studies or successfully complete two subjectsand you will be eligible for direct admission into a range of Bond University degrees after Year 12.
You’ll have an unforgettable experience as you enrol in a Bond subject, attend lectures and tutorials, mix with Bondies, meet our academics and get immersed in university life. You’ll also get full access to our libraries, sport and recreation facilities - just like a real Bondy! This program can be challenging but you’ll receive plenty of support from us, including your own Bond Student Mentor to help you throughout your semester at Bond.
