On any given workday, the Child Care AwareKansas Referral Center can receup to 100 request from families seeking child care referrals. In order for theReferral Center to give useful and beneficial information, it is necessary for childcare programs to provide updated profiles and vacancy information on a regularbasis.

The information provided about your program allows the Referral Center to do abetter job of letting parents know about your business. The information receivedregarding child care in Kansas is important to provide demographics and statisticsto community stakeholders, public policy makers and community partners.

In order to ensure accurate and up to date information, we ask that every provideupdate at least once a quarter. Those facilities that we have not heard fromrecently will temporarily be taken off of the lists parents receive until an update ismade. Providers that update by one of the following methods will stay current and

have their name distributed to parents:

Reservations are HIGHLY recommended! Events with low enrollment may be cancelled.

Arrive on time:Doors lock at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Reserved

seats are held until listed start time. Unclaimed seats will then be given away to walk-in participants. I not

registered, certicates may be held to veriy payment status.

Cancellation Policy: I you will be unable to attend a PDE or which you have a reservation, you must cancel

your reservation 24 hours in advance. The training credits will be restored or members. For non-members,the enrollment ee may be applied to a uture PDE. No refunds will be issued.

Inclement Weather/Training Cancellation: In the event o a cancellation, we will try our best to contact all

pre-enrolled participants. Call (316) 682-1853 for cancellation information. You can also visit: childstart.ning.

com and check your local news for cancellation updates. Cancellations due to weather are determined at

3:00 pm the day of the trainings.

We ask that no children attend with participants. Sorry, no food or drinks allowed in training facilities.
